About the Muñecas Muertas The Muñecas Muertas is Duke City Derby's all-star team that represents Albuquerque in interstate bouts and national tournaments throughout the year. Each year, the league nominates the captain for the Muñecas Muertas who selects team members based upon past performance during the season. The Muñecas have recently scored victories in Santa Fe, Denver, and Dallas, and are currently vying for a slot in 2008 WFTDA Western Regional tournament.
