Duke City Derby's 1st Ever Skate-a-Thon
on Saturday, July 19th! |
DCD is hosting a Skate-a-Thon fund raiser on July 19th to send the Muñecas Muertas to compete against the Salt Lake City Salt Shakers at RollerCon 2008 in Las Vegas. The Skate-a-thon is a 60 minute race wherein skaters collect pledges for every lap skated.
The evening will also feature a slide show of DCD's greatest hits, an autograph session with the Muñecas, bar service for those 21+, and live-band entertainment. Plus, a portion of the money raised will go towards purchasing recreational equipment for the Paradise Hills Community Center.
Best yet, admission to the event is free!
